Pylon Tool is constantly developing and improving in-die sensing technologies in order to ensure a quality part or assembly for their customers. In fact, Pylon is recognized by a sensor group of industry peers as being on the leading edge of these types of technologies. These sensors include, but are not limited to, feed-up detectors, double stock detectors and strain gage or piezo sensors where assembly occurs in the tool. The tool below shows a number of double stock detectors, along with sensors underneath where a second coil stock is staked to the base material, and where the Consert™ contact is inserted.
