| Consert™ is being marketed with Ames Electro Materials Corporation, a leading producer of precious metals. As can be seen from the illustration, the contact is formed right in the piece part. It consists of a precious metal contact surface and base material that is rolled out under both heat and pressure, in a controlled atmosphere. This process creates a metallurgical bond, superior to that of a cold-headed, bi-metallic contact. Additionally, Ames Electro Materials are capable of laminating a thinner layer of precious metal than is currently available in a bi-metallic rivet-type contact, reducing precious metal content and associated costs. Key Benefits
|
| Superior bonding | |
| Reduced precious metal content | |
| Greater run rates can be achieved | |
| Torque testing not required |
